On March 30th, Butch Kaebel was named head coach of the Tulsa Oilers for the 2004-2005 season.
"I am very excited to be the head coach of the Tulsa Oilers," Kaebel said. "The preparation starts now. I look forward to continuing the momentum we had at the end of last year. We will start strong, continue strong, and finish strong. It's not the will to win that matters, it's the will to prepare to win that matters."
"Butch took over the Oilers during a difficult time last year," Oilers general manager Corey MacIntyre said. "The players had every opportunity to quit and give up, but he did a great job keeping them motivated. He provided great leadership behind the bench, and we felt that he was the best candidate to lead the team next season." |
